The KSD9700 series is a thermal protector that uses bimetal as a temperature sensing element. When the appliance is working normally, the bimetal is in a free state and the contacts are in a closed / open state. When the temperature rises to the operating temperature value, the bimetallic element quickly acts upon the internal stress generated by the heat, opening / closing the contacts, and cutting / connecting the circuit, thereby providing thermal protection.
