(3MP) Thermal protector characteristics
● 3MP thermal protector is produced by Texas Instruments KLIXON ® technology. It has the protection function of overheating protection and precise control of current overload time for (motor, transformer... etc.) at the same time.
3MP accurate current overload protection principle:
● The auxiliary heating wire in the 3MP thermal protector is matched with the KLIXON ® bimetal to control the trip time of the overload current. When the current (motor, transformer... etc.) is too large or the locked-rotor current exceeds the trip value set by the thermal protector, the protector can cut off the circuit within 4 to 10 seconds to protect the electrical appliance.
(Design range of current overload trip value: 3A ~ 30A).
3MP temperature protection principle:
● 3MP thermal protector is an overheating protection element that can control temperature and current overload at the same time. It is very sensitive to temperature changes. When an accident occurs, the overheated temperature will cause the KLIXON ® bimetallic strip to open quickly. When the device cools to a safe temperature, the contacts automatically close again
(Selection range of trip temperature: 80℃ ~170℃)
